Mighty Men of Valour (MMV)

Our Mighty Men of Valour (MMV) is our Men’s Ministry mandated to help our men build an intimate personal relationship with God through Christ and help them discover their true calling from God. MMV is also a platform where brethren uplift, strengthen, and inspire one another in the faith, helping each other stand firm amidst the challenging times we live in as Paul wrote in Ephesians 6:10 (KJV) Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

Our vision
The vision of our MMV is to establish a ministry of excellence to develop a network of godly men of strong character and integrity to effectively take their roles as accomplished leaders, honourable husbands, loving and disciplined fathers.

Our mission

To build and develop a total Christian man empowered through the Holy Spirit to become all God has purposed them to be through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, discipleship, and leadership.

Our goals

• To create an atmosphere that is conducive to the spiritual, social, economic and emotional well-being of all our men and our pastor.
• Build networks among our men and cultivate a spirit of unity.
• To help our men to discover their God-given talents, and to find practical ways of channeling them to the service of the Lord.
• To engage and mobilise our men as a strong force in spearheading evangelism of the church.
• To help our men become more like Christ.
• Provide high level mentorship for our young men, teens, and boys.
• Equip and develop our men to take up leadership roles in the church, community and nation.
• Inspire men to engage into business, career, and other walks of life that will not only better their lives and families but bless the kingdom as well.

Our activities

Our activities range from, workshops, sports and fitness, lead the church in communal labour, lectures, to breakfast meetings. Our activities touch on all aspects of life including leadership and responsibility in the church, marriage, education, career and business, and health etc.

Membership

Every active man of ICBC is an automatic member of the MMV.
